It seems like Captain Jean-Luc Picard and USS Enterprise crew have made a stop on Mars in these recent days. NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter recently captured an interesting symbol on the planet's surface which looks exactly like "Star Trek" Starfleet logo. According to official statement, the symbol was spotted on a dune in the southeast Hellas Planitia region.
The organization shared the photo with public on Wednesday, but it was originally taken in April.
"Enterprising viewers will make the discovery that these features look conspicuously like a famous logo," – said the crew.
Check it out below.

The combination of wind, lava and dunes are responsible for shapes of Mars' surface, so the symbol was shaped over a long period of time thanks to red planet's unpredictable weather. But we would still like to think that there is a chance a certain someone came back from the future and left us a little hint.
